14 days and counting, and Costly Kelly still has yet to introduce an executive order to put a stop to a proposal to build a massive 350-megawatt data center in Bow, New Hampshire. Ayotte’s recent scramble to shift her position on data center opposition is all too convenient. She’s accepted $138,000 from the industry and took a contribution from the developer who proposed a data center in Nottingham, New Hampshire.

While Ayotte claims to be focused on “reduc[ing] energy prices,” for ratepayers, that couldn’t be further from reality. Under her failed leadership, electricity costs have climbed 15%, and her signature of HB672 opened up the door for data centers to expand across New Hampshire, which will drive energy costs up even further.
