NHGOP Chairman Scott Maltzie on Pete Buttigieg Visit to New Hampshire

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CONCORD, N.H. — Today, Pete Buttigieg will hold a rally in New Hampshire. Ahead of the event, New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Scott Maltzie released the following statement:

“Democrats hate New Hampshire, and they sent Pete Buttigieg to our state to try to make up for taking the First-in-the-Nation primary away from us,” said NHGOP Chairman Scott Maltzie. “Pete is not the moderate the left wants Granite Staters to believe he is. He supports taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal aliens, abolishing the Electoral College, and packing the Supreme Court. We also cannot forget his failed record as Transportation Secretary, where he spent $80 billion on DEI grants while air traffic control modernization fell behind. His arrival in New Hampshire is nothing to celebrate.”

“Even worse, he is campaigning alongside Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington, Washington insider Stefany Shaheen, and Corrupt Chris Pappas. The fact that they are all supporting an Opioid Lobbyist shows just how desperate and out of touch the Democratic Party has become with Granite Staters.”
